Watch the full episode at the link in our bio! The way we consume beef in this country cannot keep up with a demand. We sit down with @athorsepower with @thomas_cattleco who tells us all about the ‘Grass-fed beef in the grocery store’ myth in the US. If cattle eat grass, their fat turns a yellow color. White fat means they've been fed grain, despite labels. These grocery stores might just be lying to you. KNOW where your food comes from. Go straight to the source- local farmers. #GrassFedBeef #BeefMyths #FoodFacts #MeatIndustry #ConsumerAwareness #HealthyEating #KnowYourFood #RealFood

BS! I live in central Texas and I raise grass fed/finished beef. That is all they eat. Have you ever heard of hay? That's what they get in the winter and during a drought.
There are ranchers in Texas raising grass fed beef. This guy doesn't know what he is talking about.
What is hay? Dried grass.
Lie. It’s too expensive to import grain in hawaii and we have one of the largest ranches in the country. They’re all grass fed and our local beef is always grass finished because no rancher here would want to pay the high cost of imported grain and we don’t have feedlots.
Dude get your facts straight you I'm a rancher in NE and I'm doin grass fed beef start to finish I don't think you really know what your talkin bout
Grass finished, grain finished, either way, thanks for buying beef folks 🤝🏼
@tom_richards5 owns Richards regenerative and they do grass fed grass stains all year round! This dudes nuts

100% grass fed absolutely exists in this country 😮 my parents for one raise only 100% grass fed even throughout Ohio winter when the cows get the best hay. Now grass fed, yes, that’s different than 100% grass fed.
Guys he’s not saying it’s impossible or that no one is doing it, he’s saying that it’s extremely rare for Texas ranchers to have grass fed beef and if you are sold grass fed beef the fat should be yellow if it isn’t then your not eating grass fed beef.
Grass fed doesn’t mean they eat the grass from the ground. Some do, but some grass is harvested and fed to the cows later, which doesn’t have the same nutrients as living grass, and you’ll never know if your grass fed beef is fed live grass or harvested grass.
BULL SHIT HAWAII HAS GRASS FED AND FINISHED BEEF NEED THE HOOK UP ??
Reading most of the comments and it seems that most people stopped listening after like 5-10 seconds and left a comment.
Grass fed in BEEF is impossible in Texas, but NOT ON THE BIG ISLAND of Hawaii. We got the best Beef & Pork.
