Ran into PVE which stands for Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators and we had the chance to ride a few while we were there. The system is honestly impressive. Instead of cables and heavy machinery these elevators move using air pressure which keeps the mechanics simple and the experience smooth.
What stood out to me most is how little structural modification is needed for installation. No large shafts no major framing changes just a clean self contained system that can be integrated into existing homes far easier than traditional elevators. Smart design and a very cool solution for residential accessibility.
