I've been manually adding parts and negative parts this whole time

For the first option when you add a Plug, try selecting Frustum as the option with a hexagon, and you’ll really never have to worry about alignment as you can adjust the bevel of the plug shape. Adding two or three, you’ll get a very nice register and alignment (especially when they only socket one orientation) and even add extra clearance for adhesive so glue won’t be squished out for a better finish.

This also works exactly the same on prusaslicer.

Dude! For a long time I was just frustrated that the cut option slices unwanted sections of complex models. I was just wasting time to find a workaround. Now you tell me that all I had to do was right click?? I dont know if I should be happy or sad 😂 thank you very much

Cracking video, mate. I haven't played around with the dovetail cut; I've only played with the other two. Good explanation tho.

Wait, you can do tolerance in it? How we know the tolerance we needed? I tried for my last print and it is hard to assemble them

An off center prism is my preferred method of registering and connecting.

I don’t know why but I can’t do this exclude feature that you’re talking about at the end, it chooses the all part 😢
@onekiwi2026-03-13
Does this align both parts or do you have to do that manually?
