Are movie theaters dying because of streaming, or because they stopped being worth the trip?
And a special thank you to @cinemacityuae for letting me come check out your beautiful new theater!

So instead of paying $75 for 2 with tickets, sodas and popcorn / hotdogs, it will cost $250 for 2 but at least we will be able to watch these new horrible movies in style and class 😂
Who would be able to afford this if it was here though. Only the wealthy class
As a person who works in animation and has worked in themed entertainment, I whole-heartedly agree with the only caveat is that this works for the K shaped economy where the rich will do better and spend more. But lower income customers will be further boxed out as they re being done in Las Vegas, for example.
I mean you already have concepts like these in the UK (London in particular) with the likes of the Everyman chain or the Electric Cinemas. However, I don't know if it really made much of a difference to the lack of people attending their cinemas 🫤 could be wrong, but the last Everyman I went to, last month, was fairly empty
I might redeem my air miles to check this place out. 😍
I can’t tell if this is news or an advertisement
🔥💯
Check out the Everyman chain in London. They do this wonderfully, but at a more intimate level.
Love this ❤️
Yeah but do they have IMAX 70mm?
Covid didn't help either. Puerto Vallarta has a nice theater as well 👌 ❤️❤️
