Hipsters only, no self respecting photographer would ever be caught using this.

The point of a film camera is the film

  • @michalkacperwalo 2026-03-26

That's not a new idea. Kodak made a digital back for Nikon F3 back in 1991. That's literally how digital cameras came to be.

  • @lamasumas 2026-03-27

Why this? Makes no sense, the quality of film cameras, is from the film not the camera. At the end you will be getting the sensor quality, not camera quality, and for this you will get better results and for cheaper from a old DSLR

Id rather never take a single picture ever AGAIN EVER than to humiliate and disrespect my gear like that...please delete this. I hope the company goes bankrupt

  • @alannpictures 2026-03-26

Ts kit cost like 800$ or something

  • @melihinci 2026-03-26

    Why???

  • @xxm4rt1naxx 2026-03-26

It's only cool on paper frankly. But it's overpriced, the image quality is awful (likely due to poor post processing), it's got a crop sensor and it's pretty clunky to use. Avoid this thing. It's a great concept but TERRIBLY executed and it's not even compatible with most cameras.

This thing originally was MFT, which... makes for a pretty frustrating 2x crop factor so even a regular 50mm kit lens becomes a medium telephoto. They recently upgraded to to APS-C, which is a bit better (1.6x now) though but still not full frame.

the problem is, its a crap product. check reviews

  • @kindestregards.kurosh 2026-03-26

    Where do I buy this?

  • @lojio2000 2026-03-30

I'm not a photographer, but this made my stomach hurt. They are killing all cultural importance.

  • @probablyghey 2026-03-28

Ugh it’s a kickstarter. So it’s not actually available and one would have to hope the project doesn’t fold

  • @tlawrentiuk_photography 2026-03-30

For the price of this piece of garbage you can find a Mamiya 645pro tl or sometimes even a 645 af, then save up a bit more and get a spare digital back for it. You then are left with an amazing analog camera that you can turn into a digital one that actually gives you some good quality pictures in a couple of seconds.

  • @or_stefansko 2026-03-29

Where do you get one? How is it called?

  • @marcusvsoli 2026-03-27
