Looking for the best brunch in Austin, Texas? Mattie’s is easily one of my favorite spots and I partnered with Empo to show you why it is a must-visit. There is just something about sitting under those massive live oak trees with the peacocks roaming around that makes it one of the most stunning outdoor dining patios in the city. If you are looking for the perfect weekend vibe in ATX, this is it.
The food at Mattie’s is just as impressive as the views. I started with the fresh-squeezed orange juice and those famous buttermilk biscuits. You absolutely have to order the brioche cinnamon rolls for the table because they are incredible. For the main event, the lobster Cobb salad is a total must, or you can go with a classic Texas breakfast plate. It is honestly one of my top spots for a Sunday brunch in Austin, and the resident peacocks just make the entire experience feel so magical.
