I went undercover on Skid Row and found an entire economy on paying the homeless to sign petitions using other people’s names.
It felt like these petitioners were taking advantage of a vulnerable population. There were people with clipboards offering cash, cigs or bud for signatures on every block.
One of them said they make $20 per signature which is insane. Where is that money coming from?
I was told the office that receives the completed petitions know what’s happening on the street, but as long they pass validation they still get counted.
Whatever your views are, paying people to sign to get bills on the ballot doesn’t seem right.

Democrats created skid row and made California homeless
Soooo, this is what the homeless industrial complex was designed for. No wonder the elected body in power doesn't want to fix the problem.
So this is why homelessness has only gotten worse in CA.
signatures for what? what bills?
I see Muslim influence here
