I’m a plumber, and I disapprove of this message. Disposals are nothing but a nuisance, this looks like it’s got more moving parts to go bad, and with no water to flush out the debris, you’re just asking for a clog.

This feels like a solution looking for a problems
“They’re loud” - cheap disposals are loud, this is $500. This doesn’t sound any quieter than $200-400 units of the same power
“They’re smelly” then clean your disposal? Am I the only one who’s never had a smelly disposal?
“They feel dangerous” they’re not dangerous, so this is just making them “feel” less dangerous?
“Worried about them clogging your pipes” I’m not seeing how this would change any of that concern aside from having to sign up for a SUBSCRIPTION for your garbage disposal to replace the cleaner every 3 months. Disposals last 10+ years… that’s a lot of subscription payments.
Any septic safe unit is going to have the same or better level of mechanical break down, you can use your own enzymatic cleaner periodically if needed.
And finally, the reliance on that lever mechanism; for one of the most expensive disposals on the market, you’re going to be targeting customers with higher end kitchens and fixtures… yet their hardware comes in only 3 colors - hopefully it matches what you have.
