Austin-based LIFT Aircraft is offering the public a chance to fly in a single-seat, electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle without a pilot’s license.
Experienced pilots can use advanced settings that allow them to concentrate on other aspects of the flight, climbing up to 500 feet with speeds up to 45 mph.

I watched a few flights and as cool as they are I only see limited application. And people need to stop with the phrase “democratizing [insert fad]”
A single occupancy vehicle that relies on multiple batteries and props is far from being affordable let alone “democratizing flight.” It will be available to those who can afford it and even then the infrastructure to store these won’t exist for a few more years if at all.
