Listen brother there certainly is a market for it . It’s not for everyone but for people who have the money and want them . Listen I know of guys who charge $1500 to hang Christmas lights for people who are too busy/lazy to hang them themselves
3k? Floating shelves with a router notch for lighting inlay. Inside hallow already so run the wiring out. Without the outlet even would work. What did you use for the box so it passed inspection? Pretty shallow. Very very cool! Good work!
Nice recessed detail!!💪🏼
It’s a UL listed and code compliant assembly?
They likely aren't deep enough for the proper boxes. But hey no electrical inspection youre f8ne
We do plug mold in under every shelf. Would take our carpenters an extra hour to cut the receptacle... maybe. It could be done so easily for the builder I do work with.
The question is, how do they connect into the wall? I just made a set shelves like these with recessed led strips which click into a quick connect into a custom junction box behind the center of the shelves… I’d love to figure them out and pop them off on my cnc
Cool idea. If you put tamper proof outlets in there and use them a lot, is that gonna be too much pushing up on that floating install?
Need a manufacturing engineer, not a cabinet shop. The right machine with light assembly could pump those out under $300/piece, probably (depends on the details, of course).
LNMC Enterprise in Tarpon springs, FL. We could do that all day.
Really Nice Work
They are lovely. Where are you located?
Awesome idea! They’d be even better with a @prado_official outlet in there!
Unfortunately IKEA has them, you can also buy them online, i built 4 shelves custom and yes they are pricey..
Make them with single BOCCI outlets those rectangle receptacles are hideous…. 😢😢😢😢.
