This actually started as a total accident!
We challenged our team to solve a big internal puzzle:
What do we do with our factory offcuts?
We started looking into creative ways to use those leftovers, and we ended up making this!

What do you think it is? 🤫

It looks to me like an Accoustical tile wall panel with standoff grid, the holes in the panel create a kind of sound dampening chamber. My guess is the acoustic value of that panel standing off the wall with the holes in it would be much higher than a flat acoustic panel.
Clearly a tiny dance floor 💃🪩🕺
Looks like it could be a raised floor component. Seems light weight so would be great for stages or temporary floors too. It would dampen footsteps and the holes in the frames would be good for lighting cords.
Whatever it is it’s music to my eyes. Love the way it goes together and I need to see more please 😍
With a company name like ‘dbsorbz’ it’s a safe bet that it’s an acoustic panel … innit!? For businesses though, not residential
Looks good for a large-format pegboard in my workshop. Much more interesting than plywood with the pattern & looks soft too. Do you offer custom prints or patterns?
Brilliant!
What's that material? Doesn't seem like wood to me. Is it some mushroom based eco plastic?
I‘d put my washing machine on it to reduce vibration and noise.
Washing machine stabilizer: vibration and sound proof
Basement flooring that can be installed on bare concrete.
Plinth for washing machine?
Acoustic panels
Acoustic 💯
Ah this must be a new bee hive design 🐝
