Texas just closed the loophole... and the panic is REAL.” “DMV’s new ID rules are already shaking up car buyers. Texas didn’t pass a new law — they just tightened the rules. Now the DMV is requiring solid ID for vehicle registration: driver’s license, passport, green card, something official. No more sliding through the old loophole. Dealerships are freaking out because they handle the first registration, and they don’t want to get fined. And a lot of people are panicking because they can’t buy or renew without the paperwork. This crackdown is hitting fast, and it’s all anyone in Texas is talking about right now. #TexasDMV #VehicleRegistration #ImmigrationPolicy #TexasNews #fyp viral

Great law. We want to disincentivize illegal migration.
Illegal means illegal 🤷🏾♂️ 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I'm Latino and I support this law.
How about they start enforcing expired registration since that also means you don't have insurance.
This is long overdue. This should have been done years ago. I mean it is a law and nobody paid attention to it, especially dealerships as long as they got that money
It should be like that across all America every dealership
Latinos are a lot of people and some of us are not worried about this issue.
When i applied for license, i needed proof of address, proof of citizenship by providing birth certificate, social security number. Thats the way is was,
Now do the same for, jobs, Schools and Hospitals.
Weird law, everyone’s money is green last time I checked.
Nice, you still can't boycott isreal in TX but this is cool.
Next the state needs to enforce other countries vehicle laws. Too many Mexican cars driving around the Texas roadway
Being Hispanic, born in Texas, I support this. They should have always enforced this law.
...a friend buys the car and sells to undocumented..
They can buy a car they just can’t register it I think they will just pay people to register under their name
