Full video of the decorative wood veneering process on a bicycle frame.
Soon I’ll be adding brand new lessons inside Bents Handmade Academy where I’ll show step by step how I create decorative wood veneer laminations on bicycle frames — including all the small details and techniques behind the process.
From:
• adhesive and glue application
• wood veneer preparation and treatment
• shaping and laminating techniques
• sanding and finishing
• protective coatings that help the wood survive rain and snow for years
🎓 New veneering lessons are coming soon, so follow along and don’t miss them.

Now I kind of want to wrap my bike in Cork...
So I guess you ride indoors?
Are people really that dumb where they think wood can’t be outdoors? Where the hell do they think the trees came from? 🤣
Utterly and completely beautiful. People critiquing you have no taste, brains or soul. Nor a complete understanding of wood and its major role in automotive and locomotion history.
I wood say that's the coolest thing I've seen all day....
This is gonna be awesome. Wrap everything
I love those magnificent 1-X bicycles!
What a wild idea. But this came out dope! 🔥
This is so much easier of a way to make a stencil of your bike frame than the way I chose 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Laser wouldn’t that so nicely. Are you using bomber adhesive layer?
Very nice teenie thanks to sharing this with me
Looks nice. 10/10. Confidence if you didnt know better however? ☠️ Imagine believing its a wooden frame you sit on. 😂 Maybe one way to keep the thief away? 😅
Thats really cool
I could wrap it in 3M DI-NOC and it look just as good without worry about it deteriorating
I would seal that up with some fiberglass
