Another way for overpaid bartenders to get more. Oh and thanks for explaining the obvious about the bar name 🤦‍♂️

I leave their webcam up while at work. Fun to watch everyone taking pictures waving to the camera. The weight loss can be attributed to walking to and from the bar. Walking in sand burns more calories...

Your liver died a little. That's where the 5lbs went 🔥

That is not why it is called that. The real story is that sailors had to swim up and all their money got wet. They would hang it as payment to dry. Hence the name “Soggy Dollar”. You’re welcome.

The swim in is a lot more fun than the swim back! have had a couple close calls over the years. After a few hours and many drinks no one wants to be the lightweight that needs the dinghy pickup. 😂

Growing up in St John’s in the 70s Jost was a magical untouched place on earth . Now people disgust their importance of a drink . So sad

Can't confirm if they still do this, but was there in late 90s and stayed overnight on the property. The bar closed around 6pm, but they kept the bar open to guests all night with an honor system. Each room had a tab on the wall and just write down what you had. One of the best nights!

  • @antman305 2026-05-13

It’s called the soggy peso it’s on isla mujeres and no people you don’t only get there on boat it’s on a road dudes a liar the part of anchor the boat and have soggy peso’s is a old thing that did make the name but that’s because people did at one point anchor boats but they don’t anymore so don’t think this dude pulled up on a boat to some bar and had to get his dollars wet. Please look up the bar soggy peso’s isla mujeres and look at the road.
