It's a nice code violation..... Stairs have to be stationary can't be more than 7 and 3/4 in height or less than 4 in. And you cannot have anything in the way of the door like a lever.

Genuine question, how did this flaw make it past the design phase?

  • @vinnysdiecast 2026-06-25

So what happens when the car is in the garage? Then what?

  • @hanlonhomess 2026-06-25

this is something you talk your client out of. What did you charge?

  • @troybuchanan71 2026-06-25

So you can only use the step when the vehicle isn’t parked in the garage. Think about those logistics for a minute.

Neat but probably not code in Taxachusetts

  • @_ivorpoyedis 2026-06-27

There car will hit the step when they forget to put it back

  • @brilliant_homes 2026-06-25

How they get back inside the house if the car is blocking the step and the door

  • @truth_matters2026 2026-06-25

What happens when the car is in the garage?

  • @jonnyrok66 2026-06-25

    Make the garage bigger…

  • @mingswalkabout 2026-06-26

This is a “Custom Home”? 😂😂😂

  • @agg817khris 2026-06-25

You have cabinet slide on steps 😂😂

  • @stephenritchings 2026-06-25

None of the stated objections bothers me--or the owners and inspectors, apparently. But l hope those drawer slides aren't bearing all the weight of the users ? Non-swiveling casters riding on the floor would be my preference ...
