Not sure this is accurate. There are bills being proposed and some moving through the process but no law has been passed. There are States with automatic 50/50 custody but no States yet with laws of no child support on the books yet.

Women are statistically the ones who quit jobs/school to become full time care takers, especially if there is more than 1 child, due to the financial strain of daycare and are therefore less likely to build careers or get paid the same as men. So it stands to reason they would stay in unhappy marriages, as previous generations, due to this and other reasons.
