I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Emma in San Antonio, Texas as part of its 10th anniversary celebration on behalf of NerdWallet’s travel team.

This gem of a property is located in Pearl, one of San Antonio’s hippest neighborhoods known for its amazing culinary scene. The food and drinks on property (as well as the neighboring restaurants) are spectacular. Time your visit during one of the farmers markets for added fun!

The hotel sits in a former brewery, and the hotel’s architecture reflects that industrial charm. More standout than anything though is the exceptional service, from the complimentary coffee “room service” to the very sweet man offering complimentary muffins in the hotel’s library (yes, the hotel has its own library!

There’s not a single thing I would change about this hotel — except the part where they made me leave, hehe!

Do not miss a visit to San Antonio’s Pearl neighborhood (and perhaps a stay at Hotel Emma)!
