This can't be fiscally beneficial right? Most of the caulks you have on that table are under $3.50 for a full tube.by the time you cut off the top, find the product, and attach it, you're 5 minutes in. These would have to be basically free if youre paying an employee to run out to the van to grab one and install it.

Having one of these in the truck would be really nice for those days where you need the ONE specific caulk that the wire nut cap fell off of and the tip dried out at 5:30pm on a Friday.

I don’t understand why all the caulking manufacturers don’t make the tube with a removable/replaceable tip. It seems like the products you can get in Europe come that way.

What's crazy about this is she does such a great job and isn't even a regular employee of the company. I would hire her to work at our trade show booth in a heartbeat.

What about if that one hardens?

@tdhjameso hell, if i had one with me and i needed to finish a job but all i had was a half full, dried up tip, it would be worth it to me just so i didn't have to go to a store and buy one more tube.

If it seals well and doesn't explode when using it, that's awesome!

Learned the wire nut trick about 30 years ago. Game changer. Need to make pointy oddly colored “caulk nuts” and charge $1 ea

If your caulk dries out. You’re not using your caulk properly. Always use caulk fast. They like it that way 😉

Pure caulk talk 😂

Personally I just squeeze the ever loving fuck outta the dried up tube untill it blows out the back and then I scoop it up with my fingers and make a huge mess out of everything 🤷♂️
@frank_fl_mia2026-06-11
You can also squeeze out enough to form yourself a top for it.

Ive had like one tube of dried out caulk in 20 years..id rather just risk it than to haul those things around all the time.
