@job_shopper_tn got me thinking about designing a one piece spindle bushing with his last post. The flex section has to be thin enough and long enough to not yield in the process of snapping it over the shaft.

Whats the benefit of it being able to open and close if it’s going to hand a light hand press-fit into an ID?
