📍The Edgcote Estate, Edgcote, Banbury, Northamptonshire, UK
This is genuinely one of the houses from Pride and Prejudice.
The one with Colin Firth as Mr Darcy. Yes that one.
And you can buy it.
And relive the Mr Darcy in the lake moment if you want.
The amount of stuff that comes with this house is absolutely incredible.
Especially if you're into horses.
My favourite part has to be the fact that it has its own race course.
It's own private race course. I think that is worth repeating.
If you want to be Lord or Lady of the manor, Saltburn style, then this is your ticket to do so.

In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will
not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire
and love you .…… and your 1700 acre, 31 houses, lake, gallop and Georgian country house estate ☺️
Hear me out… we get together and create irl Austenland
If there’s no Roman ruins on the grounds then I just don’t buy that house frankly.
Its gorgeous but not many people who can afford buying and running it, taxes etc. is there no single, eligible gentleman left in the family who is looking for a fertile wife to carry on the legacy??😂😂 Such shame these estates will probably be split up and sold piece by piece unless national trust or English heritage can run them
£45m? Ah man. I’m only £45.5m short.
And it’s in walking distance to Meryton (if you’re fond of walking).
But if you move in with 31 parties thats not even 2 million per party... anyone want to join? 😂
You’re just getting silly now! Where’s the cheap ones I’m still a millionteen quid short of?!
I was just about to scream NETHERFIELD PARK IS FOR SALE AT LAST as if I wasn't poor and depressingly far away.
Owned by the late David Allen who died two years ago. Very low profile investor. Invested a lot of money into its restoration and development. You’re buying a house and a business.
Either that or a flat in Hyde Park for the same price. And I’d choose this
A mere snip at 45 mil!!
I thought you were going to say 100!
Outside is cool, inside it's boomer paradise 🤢
A paltry sum for such a vast estate. The real question is, how much is the upkeep?
"Are the dhade of Pemberly to be thus polluted?"
