I’ve seen quite a few Airline staff express disapproval of their colleagues being recorded and published. Well I’m here to ask . How do you propose that we hold these individuals accountable who invent their own policies and try to enforce them. Should we just take it? Because complaining has no results. When I do These videos, meetings are called and leaders discuss how to approach this problem. So now I need to know what you propose that will better solve the problem. You have the floor.

In My opinion , The problem is that staff do not read policy. They instead consult their supervisor who also didn’t read the policy. And now we have invented policies floating around. Stop asking ppl and simply read . This is the solution. What’s so difficult about that?
same happened to me.. Jawn tried to kick me off the plane for recording.. show her the policy, she was PISSED!!! 😂😂
Why is it so important for you to record people that you don’t know? It’s weird.
If I a flight attendant tell you I’m uncomfortable being recorded, why not stop? Why would you want to make someone providing you comfort and care uncomfortable?
The problem isn't the recording. The problem is specifically recording people at work that aren't bothering you or even interacting with you. What is the reason?
Take the videos.
when they say stop,
DONT STOP.
PRaiNT the damn airline policy, and show them.
If they continue to try to kick u off the plane for it, you have a solid case and they cannot say "they didnt know, they thought that was the policy"
you have an airtight case of them Blantanly kickin you off knowing you didnt break the rules.
count your bag of money.
This is the strangest take. Why do we want to record anyone anyway? Especially knowing they don't want to be recorded and don't consent to being recorded. That would make me feel so icky. Policy or not. I would not record someone that is telling me they don't want to be recorded.
I love this....like sir...I don't work here but since you are forcing me to be a temporary employee ..here is your company policy 😂
I’m a flight attendant and people get SO MAD when we ask to stop being recorded. Most of the time is while we are finished with service and just want to finally be able to eat something for the first time all day or just enjoy some coffee or a book for 5 mins. I had a passenger literally stand up mid flight and put the camera right in my face laughing so I said “I do not consent to being recorded against my will” and people we telling him to back off. ALL BECAUSE I didn’t give him headphones during boarding
Policy is AMAZING. Most employees don't want to get caught on the wrong side of a policy discussion. Always stand up for yourself. I had an Internet provider shred my credit because they weren't paid for the last month of service. I didn't yell at anyone. The account was properly set up to begin with. It took a little discussion, involving the BBB, threatening to have their shady collection agency's state licenses pulled in their home state of Illinois and two phone calls with an executive support specialist to get a credit report entry removed as an error as well as a commitment from the executive support specialist to escalate within his chain of command for a review of processes to ensure the issue wasn't repeated
So I guess it’s ok for flight attendants to record passengers too right? Like when they don’t know how to put their bags in the bins, or like when you have to tell them 4 times to fasten their seatbelt, or when they’re walking barefoot to the bathroom??? I guess it’s ok to take their pictures too right???
3 things and 2 can be right. 1. THATS A GREAT EMPLOYEE you recorded who is following the rules Yes u can record BUT you cannot record everything in an aviation environment due to security rules and regulations. The airport is federal property and there are restrictions for recording on federal property. This is not an airline rule .
That’s becauee they operate on federal policies but if it was another private company you really can’t cause it’s like filming a private citizen who can ask not to be recorded and can sue
People making up “policies” on the fly hate it when you show up with the actual policies. Receipts always win.
Well the airplane is considered “private property”. They can legally ask you to stop recording them.
