Buy a house instead and avoid these fascists instead.
It’s called housing first, and other countries have done it. Any time there is a profit before people, there’s always an opportunity for exploitation of the people. What model is this that allows people to buy a home for renting/profit, and how can they control greed not to influence the landlords. If you’re buying to live in it and you want to rent out some part of it, then it’s up to you, but to buy a property solely for renting is not right.
Waste of time!! Criminals have a better system than you guys, if they don't pay the rent? EVICTION!! I'm prettsure, you guys have good lawyer's.

Where do you get these reports? What company do you use?
In my experience people who have been scamming their entire lives, always try to teach something on the internet!
Where do you get those report
It's crazy but some of the best tenants I've had been tenants with shady backgrounds! They always pay on time and hardly ever call for problems. They usually call to notify about a problem and handle it themselves while I reimburse them. They're more than welcome to come to any of my rental units.
Also, pull a Police run report to their last known addresses. They’re public record in Indiana. I also check the Indiana Department of Corrections records and Sexual Offender registry to make sure no known offender is paroled or list their address as their residence. Again, these records and registry are public records. One of my prospective tenants, moved every 2 years while she maintained a very nice home in the suburbs. She stated she was separated from her husband. Sounds suspicious. I dug further and verified that her son was paroled to her last known address in the previous apartment for 2 years. He’s also listed on the Sexual Registry as a lifetime offender. He’s unable to reside or be paroled to her home due to the home being directly across the street from a middle school. My building has 8 units which include 4 3 bedroom units. All, but one of the units have children in them. “DENIED.” I refuse to put my current tenants and their children at risk. Do your due diligence!!
