Creamy Gochujang Pasta, this was so amazing I can’t even put into words
1 package of @taste_republic fresh gluten-free fusilli pasta
2 tbsp gochujang
2-3 garlic cloves freshly minced
1 tbsp chili oil
1-2 tbsp gochgaru (Korean chili flakes)
1 cup Reserved pasta water (use about 1/2 cup or as needed, don’t dump all in if not needed)
3 tbsp Mayonaise
1 cup freshly shredded mozzarella + 1/2 cup finely shredded
1-2 tbsp Spicy Mayo (recipe on my page)
Furikake of your choice (mine has bonito flakes in it for this recipe)
2-3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Salt for pasta water
Cook pasta according to package. I prefer it pulled out at 2 minutes. Scoop out 1 cup of pasta water before draining, you’ll use what you need in the next steps, not the full amount.
Get some chili oil in a wok on low-med heat. Add in minced garlic and chili flakes. Cook for a minute. Add in gochujang. Cook for a minute. Add in about 1/2 cup pasta water and incorporate. Turn the heat to lowest setting. Throw in the handful of brown sugar. Add in regular shredded mozzarella, and stir slowly until melted.
Next, whisk in the Mayo. Once they are married then go ahead and drop your pasta in. Lightly incorporate, and then add the fine shredded mozzarella in a layer and cover it up.
Let it cook for a few minutes on low to melt the cheese. Remove the lid, add furikake, spicy Mayo, and Korean chili flakes. Dish up and enjoy your life

adding notes for my own future reference:
Less brown sugar, add soy sauce. No second round of cheese, just use 1 bag uncooked pasta/ double sauce recipe. Cook pasta al dente so it doesn’t disintegrate, and add chicken or shrimp and bok choy or spinach
@mckitchen__ I want to make this recipe for my boyfriends birthday. What is the best way to add braised beef to it? Like what would be best to braise the beef in?
adding notes for my own future reference:
You don’t really need the extra cheese stirred in, if cooking for yourself for 1 week use 1 bag uncooked fusilli and double the sauce recipe. Tripled it last time/ used 1.5 bags pasta bc i shared some. Add some meat and veggies though so it’s more balanced, chicken or shrimp would be good and maybe some bok choy or spinach
Yummmm!
@mckitchen__ Gave it a try! It was a total game changer. I highly recommend trying it this way. So so good! I wish I had taken pictures, but just wow. Thanks for the recipe!
*not me immediately buying the required ingredients* 🥵

How many servings does this make.
adding notes for my own future reference:
don’t need to add in round 2 of cheese; just use 1 bag uncooked pasta and double the sauce recipe (if cooking for just you for the week, 1.5 bags and triple if sharing). Add a tad less brown sugar and throw some soy sauce in. Add chicken or shrimp, and bok choy or spinach
@inin0308
