Pancake Sausage Balls are a family favorite breakfast for Thanksgiving and Christmas morning! #hungryjackpartner
INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups Hungry Jack Pancake Mix
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb breakfast sausage
1/4 cup milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixer mix together pancake mix, cheese, sausage, and milk.
Once everything is well combined use a cookie scoop to scoop out the sausage balls.
Spray a sheet pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper and place sausage balls on the sheet pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-23 minutes. Enjoy! My family loves dipping these in syrup or jelly!

I made these this weekend and they turned out amazing! I used the suggestion of adding cream cheese. With or without syrup they were still good!
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 c pancake mix
- 1 c mild cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c milk
- 1lb Jimmy Dean Breakfast sausage
yo, you need to update this because 2 1/2 cups is way too much pancake mix
it should be one to one and a half cups, depending on how meaty you like your balls! you’re welcome✌️🏼💗👨🏼🎨

Thank you so much! Trying yo make some for work. 😍
My mama’s recipe! Finally!
Cut the dough and add more hot sausage and cheese.... way better
Those look delicious. Wish I had a little plate of them right now. I love anything breakfast.😄
@kelsi3michelle
Did you just claim to invent sausage balls?? 🧐 🧢
YUM!
How do you know that the sausage is cooked?
Have made these for years for both thanksgiving and Christmas as appetizers before dinner... ratio a bit different. 1.5 cups bisquick or hungry jack, 10 oz sharp cheddar, 1/3 cup water and 1lb good mild sausage.. the sausage is where you get your taste. We also make a mustard sauce which also can be used on ham if you make it for dinner later. Sooo good!!
Sausage balls sounds like something you’d serve at a pride parade
