This would be perfect for pontoon boats!!!! Nice idea

We know how amazing foiling is and we know that on offshore boats the big cats are the fastest I wonder if this would make a 40 ft cat so efficient that it's faster

Am curious as it sits would not come off trailer?

America is always first to discover stuff but with all due respect it's been done in South Africa for years... I personally know of 3 cats that have this foil. Old news Sir

Because most people are scared to death to try anything new themselves. Later, when all the beta testing has been done for them by guys like you, and they’re not terrified anymore, they’ll buy it. Then they’ll explain to their friends all the benefits like they were on board from day one.

Foils are definitely what is going to make electric sustainable in the marine sector, from foil assist to fully submerged, hull design only gets you so far and then foils are the only other step to take

Cool, i use this on a electric paddle board to get the ass end up. Since has giant battery and would not plane. From 13 mph to 26mph. It was tricky getting a good combo of drag and lift. Love to see it scaled.

I can tell you why everybody’s not doing it. You can’t drive it up on the beach or sandbar or Riverbank

“Why isn’t everyone doing this” … because it is a terrible idea in practice. I can’t even imagine how much sea grass you would be dragging around after a trip offshore or in the bay. Much less hitting anything at speed.

Isn’t the foil preventing the boat to get off the trailer ?

What happens when you hit the sand

Do you think this type of system would work on a bilge keel sail boat ? (As a retro fit)
