Stoked to finally give these @bracemateltd brackets a proper go!
They’ve been riding around in the van for months, just waiting for the right build — and now their time to shine has come.
I’ll be honest, they take a little longer to install than just chucking up a stick of timber, but the payoff’s worth it.
A few twists and they’re set — and if you need to tweak the brace later, it’s super quick and easy.
Keen to keep using these more on future jobs!

The art of a plumb wall that is square and straight. The difference from average to good is not great. True tradesman.
Wouldn't it just pull the stud over and out of the check out ? Shouldn't they get attached to the top plate ?
Forgive my ignorance, is this a temporary bracing used to make construction easier or is it permanent?
I have been looking at these for sometime. They are now half price too. As they are now made offshore. It’s a tempting option.

I would be interested in another post about these maybe time lapse the diagonal ‘square’ wall brace them then plumb. And ideas on time, ease and accuracy comparison’s
What’s advantage over simple ratchet strap, slight more control maybe? we just put one screw on each loop to stop sliding. Also feels like something that would hurt walking into as the sun fades away and each time you reuse another stud is used to accommodate different size space. Useful product for sure , please change my mind with some more info
That's one way to do it. Definitely easier if you're building solo
