Don’t heat the honey in boiling water. Could be toxic. Let the drink cool off then add honey/lemon to taste.

I add ginger, cinnamon and cloves! Boom! Eliminates antibiotics if you take it as soon as you feel a sore throat or something.

I don’t know about adding honey and olive oil but I’ve boiled red onion and drank the water consecutive days. I’ve never been sick since then. Started this at the beginning of winter and I’ve had no colds and flu symptoms

It’s been a regular thing in my family, since I can remember you can use any type of onion and boil it whole. No need to peel, just wash and a whole apple just washed. Boil those two add some sweetener and it’s good to drink hot or cold it still helps. I used it when I had cov!d and in 2-3 days I was like new. I drink it as prevention in the colder months 🙌 hope this helps

When you drink something warm, sweet, and slightly oily, a few things occur: The warmth increases blood flow to your throat → mucus becomes less viscous (thinner). The hydration helps keep your mucous membranes moist, making mucus easier to clear. Honey and olive oil provide a soothing coat that temporarily eases irritation. So yes — you might feel temporary relief of throat mucus or congestion, but it’s not a detox, and it definitely doesn’t “clean” your lungs or airways at a cellular or chemical level
