Well color me impressed.
I saw @chrismurraycustom and @jchcabinets using these outlets, so I had to give them a try.
This is the Prado Unifit Duplex outlet, specifically the self contained version that doesn’t require a junction box behind it. That means it can fit into tight spaces like this narrow filler.
Plus they provide .dfx files for the cutout, just import the file to your cnc program and set the tool paths, and you get the perfect fit.
Needless to say I’ll be using these a lot in the future.

Using 8 of these in an upcoming kitchen...I will now forever see a standard outlet in an island as cutting corners and cheap junk 😂
That’s super cool. Doesn’t come with a jog to route out the inset?
Absolutely love the @prado_usa outlets. They’re definitely a standard in all of the projects I do now.
Those are sweet. Where did you get that clamp on the saw?
Those are classy! Very clean. I like a lot.
Clean! But what secures it to the cabinet? It's not just a friction fit, is it?
That is super cool!
Inspectors gonna pass that? Here in Canada. Love the look
Awesome!! Now all I need to do is place my wall on my router table!! Can’t wait!!!
How’d you make the template to route it out?
What’s the best way you found to cut the double opening? I would assume hole saw both sides and then bridge a cut between. But what’s your trick to make it look that clean?
Who makes it ? Currently shopping..
Love it! Is it to code in BC Canada?
Oohhh—I wonder if this would work in baseboard outlets? 😍
Do they come on 20 amps?
