Pretty cool. But how well would that hold in say Florida with hurricane winds ? That Thermal Ash wood is great and Thermal wood has a long durable life span. So will it outlast the plastic brakets ?

Nice idea, but looks as though you have to have the exact width of board to use the system. Also, just wonder if the plastic? Will get brittle over time. Also guessing the boards come pre machined? And finally even if they do come pre machined it looks as though the depth of cut could take a lot of strength out of the board.

How does this stand up to northern midwest winters and summers?
With expansion and contraction especially in areas of large temp swings will this product pop loose of its fasteners?
I assume the boards are prepped with a router?
