I don’t think people realize how good this was.
Who ever is wondering why the dot jumps a bit back:
When a fast-moving object flies across the screen and an arrow hits it dead-center, the sensor can’t trigger the instant the tip just kisses the wall. The system only gets a reliable position once the arrow is fully in the wall — a few milliseconds later. In that tiny delay, the animation keeps moving.
So ArcheryTime rewinds that movement and calculates the exact spot where the arrow first made contact. That’s why the hit appears slightly “pulled back” to the true impact point!
