Oh man so many projects going on and I finally setup & finished turning the iMac into a monitor. I do recommend Luna display if you want a plug in play option but be aware these need to both b hardwired into Ethernet or there is latency. If you have a 4k/5k iMac I recommend pushing to 1440p for best results. If you want higher refresh rate, universal adapters, and no latency go my route and take it apart! #macbook #macbookpro #videographer #editor #photographer #apple #macbookair #videography #photography

I want to do this but following your video feels like a lot of work. 😢
Can this be done with a 2009 iMac
I saw your video and did this myself with a 21.5 4k version. All in it cost me about £80 - I was given the iMac for free. Very fun project but now I’m looking at 5k iMacs on eBay. 👀
Hey, nice work. What board you used?
How do I update older computers to the new IOS? I have a 2018 desktop
Still 60hz display
My iMac 27” display gave up on me unexpectedly few years ago so I saved up for an Apple M1 Macbook Pro.
The engine still works so I wonder of you could guide me on how to change the display? Or I dont mind making it to an extended monitor wirelessly just like you have here..🙏
Please let me know what to google to reuse the speakers! I am just waiting on my board arriving and I’d love to salvage the speakers ❤️
Does open core legacy patcher work on Mac minis?
I have this Mac how do I upgrade the OS again?
Very nice
Is it oled screen?
is there a way to use it as a monitor without opening and doing the whole thing, just a simple hdmi cable or thunderbolt?
where can i see the step by step of this project?
Would this work if the iMac doesn’t turn on anymore? Was working fine, but now black screen of death 🫠
