Cool concept but there is nothing this provides that makes it anymore useful than a normal lift gate already widely used in the industry.
If anything it has a lot more moving parts and electrical components making it very susceptible to needing constant maintenance and repairs.
Would love to see the results of durability testing on this and how long it lasts. Lift gates can go up and down carrying thousands of pounds, dozens of times a day every day for weeks/months between repairs and maintenance. Lift gates are also lighter and I’m going to assume significantly cheaper.
