I’ll be there in September. These rules really shouldn’t have to be stated. It should be common etiquette.
I would also add no to watching videos without headphones. I hate it when kids watch their iPads or phones without headphones or grown ups for that matter.
I was prepared to be outraged, but I’m only outraged that these rules are no longer common sense—I’d even say it’s missing a few.
I want to copy these rules and give them to every place I go. They can learn something from this. It’s 99% common sense and courtesy anyway.
I don't disagree with any of these rules, however it's sad that most of these need to be stated. I think pics by the pool should be ok, but influencers have ruined it for the regular person just wanting a memory of their vacation.
Personally, I think these are super reasonable, especially for such a high-end hotel.
I would actually love a list of hotels who follow a similar approach. I would love to know what brands and properties still choose pride in offering a luxurious experience, maintaining their reputation and legacy over dollar signs.
Love these rules. GOOD. I’m sick of eating lunch next to wet, naked people lol
I’ve been going there for 40 years and just in the last I would say 20 years do they accept credit cards before that it was cash only so you had to bring cash with you but the problem was the pirates knew that and they would come up from the sea on a boat and climbing at night and rob the place but forever it was cash only couldn’t buy a meal or a drink or anything without paying cash
can confirm there are rules! I ordered uber eats at 11pm for a late night snack and the front desk staff was dumbfounded when I asked if they could let the delivery driver in 😂. they promptly let me know that food deliveries are not allowed (even though we have very specific nutrition requirements). in my defense, no one had explained that there were rules at check in!
They got me at no dog 😍. Animal lovers think we are all comfortable with their fury kids . I fear dogs and I deserve peace in public places ❤️
But what are the rules about reserving chairs at the pool? 😉
I don’t understand why it is even written down. It seems basic etiquette for any 5+ hotels.
Love, love a hotel that focuses on keeping the standard elevated 🌟
More than reasonable. Another reason why I want to stay here.
