Dont get it twisted, nwa doesnt represent Arkansas at all. Its just a bubble for the rich to forget about all the problems we actually have in Arkansas

Here is what this isn't saying. Walmart has ruined so many small towns in Arkansas . Local businesses cannot compete. Then there is a food desert and people have no choice but to shop at a Walmart two towns away. 60% of Wal- Mart employees are also food stamps because WM does not pay enough . The Walton Family Foundation has spent a ton of money on privatizing education and on fighting ballot measures designed to help public education. So yeah, they have invested in NWA, but they have left lots of towns to rot at the same time.

I’ve lived in NWA my entire life.

This is a straight up Walmart propaganda video and that Toby dude showing him around is in on it.

Arkansas. Home of two giant skid marks in the underwear of America. The Clintons and Walmart.

26 years ago, people would laugh in your face if you would have told them what it looked like today. I grew up here, and Walmart, Tyson, and J.B.Hunt are the only reason some people even know what Arkansas is. And now it's considered one of the top places to live in the US, and it's crazy the amount of money that has gone into it in that short amount of time, too.

Great civic cathedral for adoration of a family whose fortune was amassed through exploitation. Where are all those Made in the USA” signs now? Walmart built this shining city in the hope that you’ll forget the tens of thousands of small businesses and little towns the Waltons drove out of existence. They now use their fortune to prop up Trump and other Christo-Fascists. No philanthropy or quaint little Gilead changes these facts.

I love living in NWA but I try to stay away from Walmart! Shop small businesses and farmers markets 🙂

have lived in 3 college towns & never have I experienced so many non profits, local business, & caring community members. don’t let any of these comments fool you. say what you want about the waltons they don’t have to give a dime back to this area but they choose to

So cool! Walmart and the Waltons literally destroyed small town America. But hey cheap shit from China. Go Merica

99.9% of the people featured in this video didn't even know what arkansas was a few years ago. I kinda miss that

When she introduced herself I thought 'Peter just met Alice!!! A celebrity, and had no idea!' 😀 She was humble. Good timing! It's so beautiful here, just wish things were better, housing, traffic, Street growth, it's impossible to catch up with the growth.

Still can't believe you met Alice. My husband was born here, and I have been here since a baby. I love getting to see you ride on the trails we have been riding on since kids. It has changed so much! While I do miss how calm and slow it used to be around here, change is inevitable. Without all the change, there would not be nearly as much opportunity. Plus, we have had the chance to meet some really amazing people that have moved here. Thanks for checking out the area! Can't wait to see where you go next.
