Where I live, it is mostly conservative. We voted to raise our local taxes. Why? To increase funding for our schools, parks, beaches, sewers and emergency services. We get what we pay for. Our schools are safe, our parks and beaches are some of the best. Our home values have increased significantly. Our streets are safe. Not sure why anyone would want to have less services?

I did a mail in ballet for Spencer pratt and voted against raising my taxes. Im listed as a democrat as well and guess what happened i got a notice that my ballet was not received this entire system is rigged its sick we need change at the city level and state level and god im hoping Hilton wins now

1) ballots postmarked on or before Election Day get counted. It’s always been like this. Give people like troops stationed overseas the ability to have their vote counted and why it can sometimes take a week or more to certify the election because the mail in ballots. 2) conservatives historically vote in person in larger numbers especially on Election Day and democrats vote mail in ballot and early voting in larger numbers. Again it’s a historical trend not just within the last election or two. 3) people vote to increase taxes to fund things all the time. Or special measure etc. LA has a high tax base. And maybe they need money to fund more services like more police or firefighters. 4) LA is historically blue so any attempt to say attempt to say dems stole an election in a city or county that has basically been democrat forever is just funny to watch.
