At first glance, it’s just another beautiful infinity pool on Lake Como.
Except it isn’t.
The 40-meter floating pool at the Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como wasn’t built into the lake. It was engineered like a catamaran, constructed in Finland, transported to Italy, and anchored to the lakebed to create one of the most unique pools in the world. 🤯🇮🇹
Add in the historic villas, incredible spa, lakefront gardens, and views that don’t seem real, and it’s easy to see why so many people consider this one of the most spectacular hotels in Italy.
Lake Como has no shortage of legendary hotels, but this one surprised us the most.
Did you know this is the largest floating pool in Europe?

We came with the boat that close, amazing!! Lake Como puts you in aww for first timers in Italy..you feel so small yet your heart skips a beat that you are lucky to have seen the green mountains reach the blue water..it’s just stunning that you’re left with an open mouth and don’t want to speak, just want to take everything in. LOVE LOVE 🇮🇹

Best Hotel, i was there last summer, i told myself dream having a supersportscar and go there, and i did, loved the pool.
