Use Chris Titus' Windows utility, it has O&O ShutUp built in as a plugin and a lot more. Winhance is another decent option.

I don't recommend switching from windows to linux since linux is for programming and servers and complex tasks. If you are insistent you'll need to pick a suitable distro. you should also be ready to fix things yourself when major issues pop up and accept that a lot of games simply won't run with it. tell me your opinion. ❤️
